Error JASP "number of observations is <2 in dependent variable after grouping on fixed factor"
Hi all,
For my internship I have to analyze data statistically. From 8 measuring points I want to analyze statistically whether these measuring points differ significantly from each other on 9 parameters. In Jasp I tried this using an Anova but I keep getting the error "number of observations is <2 in dependent variable after grouping on fixed factor". I don't know what this means and how I can fix it.
Is there someone who could help me further?
I tried to change the rows into columns but this didn't work.
Thanks in advance!
With kind regards,
Joshua Seelen

Here is the data file I have
@joshuaseelen
The file doesn't appear to be a csv file (it contains lots of semicolons, as if perhaps it consists of semi-colon separated values rather than comma-separated values). Can you post your jasp file instead?

Thanks for your reply!
I uploaded the jasp file.
I could upload the excel file in jasp, and if it is done right the values should be seperated by comma's. If i run the Anova than the error appears. I still don't know how I can fix this for my research. Maybe the composition of the data set is not in the right form?
Hi.
To me, the data look like they're not the kind of data that can be statistically analyzed. It looks as though you have a sample size of just 1.0 (one person assessed on nine different measures at eight different time points). But in order to run an ANOVA, t test, or similar analysis there have to be at least two people in your sample (and to be of much use, the sample size needs to be much greater than two).
