zoom in and out - phone
Hi!
We are running an experiment that involves a long text. We don't have any problem when we run it on a computer screen, but we are aware that many of our participants do it on their phones, and here comes the problem. When we run it on our phones, the text size is really small and it is difficult to read, but we cannot zoom in. We have tried rotating the screen and we get a better text size but some parts (normally the beginning of the text) is hidden and we cannot zoom out. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you have a solution to this?

Of course that depends on the research, but having data collected on computers and phones doesn't sound like a good idea. But anyway, I don't think there is an easy solution to it. You might be able to achieve "zoomability" by not running the experiment full screen, but in window mode (specifying the size of the device as dimensions in the
general propertiestab).Alternatively, you could make two versions, one for pcs and one for mobiles, and adjust font size, etc. per version.
