Open Sesame does not run fullscreen in fullscreen mode

Open Sesame does not run fullscreen in fullscreen mode. We are using OS version 3.0.7 and have tried several resolutions. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
It runs at the right resolution, so it seems, but the window is not maximized (borders stay visible).
Thanks for any advice!

  • Hi,

When you open the general settings tab. There, you can view the entire Opensesame script of your experiment. Once you did that, you should be able to see a couple of variables in the beginning of the script. One of them should be fullscreen and if I am not mistaken this is set to False, right? If you change it to True, it should actually be fullscreen.

    Does this help?

  • Thanks Eduard! That worked (had to set a no to a yes). I actually checked the script but overlooked the fullscreen part!

  • Hello!

I tried to follow your advise, and when I set the "no" to "yes" in the general script and click "apply", it still doesn't work. When I go back to the general scrip and go to the fullscreen-variable, it is set back to "no". I also tried saving before I clicked "apply", but this doesn't help either.

Does anybody have any further advise? :)
