privacy of study materials in Jatos

I am new at this forum, so apologies if this is something already discussed before. I have never used Jatos before, and I would like to do so for a picture viewing experiment. However, the pictures I want to use in the study are copyrighted and should not be shared/be publicly available in any way. If I create an experiment and upload it in Jatos, is the material secure? Can the participants or anyone else download or have access to the pictures?

Thank you so much,

Elena

  • Hi Elena,

experiments running on JATOS are shown to the participants in a browser. Users of browsers can download pictures with a right click and something like "save image". Participants can download and have access to the pictures.
