Assumption check and effect size calculation for Linear Growth Curve Modeling
Hi there.
How do I calculate the effect size as a result of Conditional Latent Growth Curve Model analysis with JASP? Can the concept of effect size be related to R-square or model fit indices? Also, since the model is conditional, concepts such as homoscedasticity and multicollinearity do not fit well in my understanding. Because the variables that I include with regression (in LGCM), which actually act as covariates in a way, how will they affect these assumptions and how will they be included?
Appreciate your help!

In a Conditional Latent Growth Curve Model (LGCM) analysis, calculating effect size can be approached in various ways depending on the specific research question and the parameters of your model. While JASP provides options for model fit indices and effect size measures, the interpretation can be nuanced.
Sorry but JASP not provides effect size estimation for LGCM. I am already looking for answers on effect size and assumption control. I have not been able to get clear arguments on either.
Thank You.
