Kaiser normalization for Oblimin rotation

Hello everyone! Greetings!

We are using JASP to do a Principal Component Analysis. We are using an Oblimin rotation.

I would like to know if JASP does Kaiser normalization when we use an Oblimin rotation or not.

Can anyone please help me with this information?

Best,

Débora

  • Hi Debora,

This is not mentioned in the help file? And the help file does not point to an R package? I will ask a team member to look into this

    Hi EJ,

It is not mentioned in the help file, but the file does mention that the analysis relies on the psych package. And some further digging led me to open a bug report. So I think this might provide some basis for someone in your team to have a look this?

  • Hi,

Tarandeep is absolutely right. Thank you!

We do not do the normalisation, but we plan to add the option to apply it.
