Hi, thanks for your response,
i have already seen that post but i am still confused as to what i should do.
is it possible if you could explain it again as i dont see frequency or contingency tables anywhere :(
thanks
now it says this analysis terminated unexpectadely when i put in sum of squares type 2
It turns out that there are multiple problems:
(1) Note that sums of squares should generally be Type III.
(2) Because of an apparent misspelling, you have four word types instead of three: "living", "object", "enviro", and "Enviro".
(3) Your "Participants" column suggests that instead of nine participants you have only three. Thus, for an analysis of variance, you would need to do a repeated measures ANOVA (repeated-measures mixed factorial ANOVA with Word Type varying within participants and Group varying between participants). However, your data are not properly arranged for a repeated measures ANOVA. See https://jasp-stats.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Statistical-Analysis-in-JASP-2024.pdf
(4) It appears that your neutral group includes only one participant (Participant #3). In JASP, you need more than one participant in each group in order to run an ANOVA.

hi, thanks for the response and sorry to bother you again but could you please tell me how i would analyse the results of this dataset please:
it goes a lot further down too
thanks :)
it worked if dont include the participant numbers.
is there a way for me to include them
For a repeated-measures ANOVA , first, you need to get your data into the format illustrated below. Then, I refer you again to the JASP documentation to learn how to do a repeated-measures ANOVA in JASP.

thanks

is there a way for it to work if i include them.
