Markers not showing in EEG recording (BrainVision)
Hi, I'm trying to set up my EEG experiment but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. For starters I'm using OpenSesame as the presentation software and BrainVision ActiChamp Plus as the recording software. I'm using a parallel port to send triggers to my BV amplifier (trying out Dr Kate Stone's code for RSVP experiment) but I don't see the markers reflected anywhere in my EEG recording. The only thing I changed in the code was the port number to align with my computer setup. There is no error code either. Could it be that the trigger was not sent out at all? Or are my settings on BrainVision wrong? Could it be that it's because OpenSesame and BrainVision are on the same computer? I don't even know where to start troubleshooting. Thanks in advance for the help!! Happy to provide any other information about the hardware/software I'm using.
