JASP version 0.19.0 / 0.19.1
Hello,
We are a teaching team and we just update all our JASP's tutorial with the version 0.19.0.
Usually, we asked our student to stay with the version that we tested, so the 0.19.0.
But, you just added the 0.19.1 version and the previous one is not available in the download page with previous versions.
Could you please added it ?
Or could you please confirmed that there is NO difference between the two for those analyses :
- descriptives
- T-Tests
- ANOVA
- Regression
- Distributions
Also, sometimes there are compatibility issues with .jasps (opening a .jasp from 0.19.0 with the 0.19.1).
Thank you very much for your help.
Emma

You are probably referring to versions 0.95.0 and 0.95.1. They came out about 1 month apart (end of July and end of August) and the new version currently available for download (0.95.1) has basically just bug fixes, so you should be good with the newer version.
The changes in the new version are detailed here: https://jasp-stats.org/release-notes/
One that might be of interest to you is a fix in the descriptives analysis with ordinal variables: https://github.com/jasp-stats/jasp-issues/issues/3598
Hello,
Yes, thank you for your response, I was referring to 0.95.0 and 0.95.1.
I saw the changes, but we usally worked with the last version we used, no problem for us if they are little bugs.
We juste regret that the 0.95.0 is not downloadable, as all previous versions were.

I just installed the 0.95.1 version and there are some issues of compatibility when opening a .japs registered with 0.95.0, suddently JASP shut down.. It is for this reason that we prefer working on the same version when having uploaded all our teaching course.
So, we would rechanging all, another time, it is just a waste of time and regretable.

Hi Emma,
This is unfortunate! The issue is one for our programming team, however; this forum is for stats questions. You can contact the programming team directly by creating an issue on our GitHub page (https://jasp-stats.org/feature-requests-bug-reports/). I realize this comes too late now (my bad: vacation, prep for teaching), but it is good to know for the future: anytime you experience difficulty with JASP, please contact the team *through GitHub*. You won't be the only one who is experiencing the problem, and the programmers have a limited set of computers, so they are sometimes blind to crashes and problems that may occur on other machines. Your feedback is very useful.
