JASP Won't Download
To Whomever,
How do I download JASP onto my Chromebook? I asked the IT at my college. But she had to put in a ticket. I need to know like ASAP, please. By the way, it sent me to something like rollAPP. What is that?
Thanks,
Becky Williams

Dear Becky,
I'll do my best to help you, but, I will start by saying I do not own a Chromebook or have much direct experience with the Linux installation that you will need to do to get JASP running on your machine.
I am not a member of the development team but just another user of the software, as it appears you are. Instructions for download are available here. Download JASP - JASP - Free and User-Friendly Statistical Software
By clicking on the more details in this guide which will lead you in turn to:
Chromebook Installation - JASP - Free and User-Friendly Statistical Software
This page has all the instructions you will need. I do not think that Rollapp is ideal. It is a method for maintaining software to be used online via the web without download, however the version accessible here is 0.14.3 whereas the currently available version is newer than 0.95. In other words the currently available version has many new features and to access it you should use the Chromebook installation detailed above. If you need further help it will be greatly quicker to get in touch directly with the development team via:

Best,
Tarandeep
Also, RollApp is not affiliated with JASP in any way.
This issue is best discussed on our GitHub paper (see https://jasp-stats.org/feature-requests-bug-reports/)
