Labeling of axes
I really enjoy working with JASP, but there are two things I would like to report here.
A problem that occurred with t-tests (perhaps a general problem):
I had made changes to the axes of a raincloud plot.
Then I changed a filter.
After that, my changes to the axes of the raincloud plots were no longer there.
Would it be possible to fix this so that changes to the filters do not affect the configuration/labeling of the axes? Thank you very much!
... and another observation:
After I changed the language from German to English, the heading “Deskriptive Statistiken” remained in the ‘Results’ and was not translated into English (despite repeatedly closing and reopening the file and despite repeatedly deselecting and reselecting “Descriptives”).
Comments
Regarding your second point (analysis title): that's normal, it shouldn't change, as these titles are modifiable. To edit a title you can click one of the buttons next to the title (if I recall correctly it's a pencil icon).
I am not sure whether it should not change...honestly it may just be a bug. Please report this on our GitHub page (for details see https://jasp-stats.org/2018/03/29/request-feature-report-bug-jasp/)
About the changes to the plot: yes, it would be good to make these "stick". But it is not clear how to best do this. You can imagine that the filter (or anything else that the user does to the data) changes the situation so that different axes are needed/desired. Maybe we should have an option on the figure "retain axes" or something? (again, an issue for our GitHub page)
