Hello Forum Goers,

I am using OpenSesame to make my dissertation project for university. I am having a similar problem to another thread that I have seen, however when I tried it it did not work. I am making an IAT with OpenSesame version 0.27.4 and I am struggling to implement second response items after incorrect responses. I have already made second chance items (Sketchpads and keyboard Responses) I just can't seem to make them work when an incorrect response is given.

I have already tried using variables in the 'Run if' section such as [Correct]=0 , [Correct]=no , [Incorrect]=yes , [Incorrect]=0. I hope you can hand me some assistance.

Thank you people!,
Joe

    Hi,
Make sure that you have something like [Correct]==0 and not [Correct]=0 in 'Run if'. You can check a condition only with double equals. Also [Correct]=no should be replaced by [Correct]!=0 which means that the variable Correct is not equal to 0.

    Hope it helps!
    Asma
