Can JASP save previous data analysis?

I am a biologist that just started to use JASP. Once I completed a statistical analysis (e.g. a T-test) and I generated the relevant plots and tables, is there any way to save and store plots & tables in JASP so that if I change data filters or select different data groups from the data sheet for an additional data analysis my previous analysis are not automatically updated to the new selected data groups?

  • When you save your JASP file it includes everything (data, analyses, results). 🙂

  • Two routes I can see:

    1. Create a copy of the old .jasp file and adjust the analyses in the new .jasp file.
    2. Stay within the old .jasp file, select "duplicate this analysis", and then edit the options to produce a new analysis.

Caveat: filters are currently applied wholesale. We are working on allowing the option to specify an analysis-specific filter.
