hello,
do you have an existing script for the IAT - the implicit association test, as a basis for adjustments?
here by attached the link for this test:

hey,
i have already created this task, so i am more than willing to share my work when it will be completed, but i have some problems with it.
in this task participants need to classify each stimuli it to one of two categories.
there for one reaction is correct, and the other is wrong.
the dependent variable is reaction time for each stimulus, until they get it right (the total time (RT) of the right classification). when they are wrong they need to receive a feedback, but they also need to correct their response, so the feedback should appear and after 50 millisecond to disappear, so the stimulus will stay and that the logger will display the total time of the trial. is it possible?
here by attached a part of the script for my experiment:
kind regards,
shira
Hi Shira,
You could add an
inline_scriptitem, in which you place the following code (in the Run Phase):This should re-run the sequence for your single trials, until a correct response has been made. (very similar to this thread)
Good luck!
Hello.
Thank you very much. Now it works just fine, and I can share my experiment with you. The only thing is that the content of the experiment is in Hebrew, so I don't know how useful it will be for the general users of this program. But if you think that I should share it, let me know.
In addition I have two more issues to solve with this experiment, and I will appreciate it if you could guide me:
regarding the logger: as you advised me before (above) I added a inline_script item to re-run the trial until correct response is typed. While the dependant variable is reaction time, when it re-run's the trials it appears in the logger as different trial, and not as one trial with it's total reaction time. Is it possible to fix it?
The last thing I need to add to this experiment is a feedback that will appear if the participant work to slow, meaning that if the do not response after 1200 ms, only after they type the correct response, they will see a message that will asks them to: "please work faster", that will appear for about 2500ms. As before, it is important that this feedback will not be considered in the result at the logger.
I hope you can assist me.
kind regards, Shira
