[solved] logger item not functioning with keyboard_resp

edited April 2014 in OpenSesame

I am wanting to log 'correct' from a keyboard response. This works fine until i eventually add another keyboard response at the top of my experiment just as a 'Space to continue' item. Once i add this additional keyboard response, the 'correct' variable is no longer available for the actual keyboard response which i want, it replaces it with 'correct' on the keyboard response which i do not want to log.

any thoughts?

Cheers,

This really depends on where the two keyboard_response items are placed! If the one you do not want to log is in between of the one you do want to log and the logger, you're gonna have a bad time!

What you could do, is not simply use correct variable, which stores the latest response correctness, but rather use the correct_itemname (replace itemname with the name of the keyboard response you want to log!) which logs the correctness of the response made in the item called itemname.

Furthermore: don't forget to fill out the Correct response field of your keyboard_response item!

    Good luck!
