[solved] Interrupt sampler after keypress

edited September 2014 in OpenSesame

Hi,
I am to OpenSesame as well as Python, so forgive me if this is a silly question. I am setting up an experiment on music-induced emotions. I ask the partecipant if they felt certain emotions and if they answer that they did, I ask them to listen to the extract again and press a key when they begin to feel this emotion.
To do so I set the duration of the sampler to keypress, but unfortunately this does not stop the sampler from playing. As the partecipant presses a key, the experiment proceeds to the next item (an open question), but the music keeps on playing. Is there a way to stop the music al together when the partecipant presses a key?
Thanks for your help!
