[open] A picture naming task

edited April 2015 in OpenSesame

Hello, I will thank you a lot if you will help me.
I try to bulid a picture naming task in the OpenSesame. My experiment should be a very simple one - I present 9 pictures to the subject (In 40 Trials, 6 Blocks) and i need to measure only the reaction time.
I tried to use the voicekey - http://www.cogsci.nl/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/1347/open-voice-key-to-trigger-an-event-online/p1
and it doesnt work :(
Do anyone have some idea how to help me? maybe there are instructionsfor a naming task experiment?
I will be rude and will ask if there is any chance that someone will programm my experiment and I will pay him?

Thanks,
Tslil

    Hi Tslil,

Would you mind providing a bit more detail on where the problem lies in particular? Is your experiment not working at all, or only the inline_script with the voice-key code? As far as I understand is a naming task a rather standard paradigm, in which a "normal" keyboard response is replace by an audio one, isn't it? If so, you could try first to built the experiment in the "easy" way and then adapt it to contain the voicekey-part. Does this help?

I will be rude and will ask if there is any chance that someone will programm my experiment and I will pay him?

In general, this would be possible, however am I (and also the others as far as I know) a bit busy these days, so you would have to wait for quite a while. Aside of this, I am sure you can get there yourself, with the help of a few pointers from us.

    Good luck,

    Eduard
