A problem in conducting Bayesian repeated measure analysis - 2 within variables and one between var

Hello,
I am trying to conduct a Bayesian repeated measures analysis, how ever the following error appears:

main effect and lower order interactions must be included whenever the corresponding higher order interaction is included.

does anyone has a clue wt does this mean and how to solve it?!

thanks in advance,
katrina

  • Part II here (https://osf.io/m6bi8/) explains the principle of marginality. You probably included interactions without also including the main effect?

  • you mean adding it in the modal option?
How do I include the main effects?
sorry for my ignorance, first time using this software and I find a good user guide..

    thx

  • You can check out the "ArthropodHostiliy.jasp" file (https://osf.io/mjft7/).
The analysis should run fine if you simply define your factors. It would help if you could send a screenshot of jasp as it gives the error message, or, better still, the .jasp file.
    Cheers,
    E.J.
