Defining average response time and accuracy with Python

Hello,

It's me again! After many good advices from Eduard, I managed to create a self-paced reading task which measures reading time per phrase via inline scripts. However, I no longer have other variables that comes with the keyboard_response items : accuracy and average response time. I'm sure it is super easy to write, but I can't seem to find the codes anywhere in the manual, nor where to put them...

Thanks again!!

  • Hi,

You say you've created a self-paced reading task. Where do reaction times and accuracies come from then? Are the sentences followed by questions?

    Cheers,

  • Hello,

As you can see in the code, I have 5 sketchpads with text and Eduard helped me with the codes for reading time per sketchpad. These are followed by a multi-choice form.
Before I created the inline scripts, I got the average reading time from the keyboard_response which I then had to take out. So now I have no idea where I am supposed to get the average reading time and accuracy from!

    Thanks!
    Cat
