THE JOB INTERVIEW
So here's the good news: if you're called for an interview, the employer thinks you potentially have what it takes. You look great on paper; now comes your chance to show what you've got and prove you're as fabulous as your cover letter claims. The goal of the interview is not just to see if you're the real deal; it's also to evaluate if you and the company "mesh." According to https://studydaddy.com/ the interviewer wants to make sure you're a good fit to work here. You want to be yourself in any interview, but you also want to show that you are capable of adapting to any work environment with enthusiasm, that you will have respect for your fellow staffers, and that you possess ingenuity. Every workplace is unique, and of course, it's the sum of its parts. It's the people who make up the company as much as it is the product/ser vice that's offered. So the interviewer needs to see that you're going to be comfortable and make those around you comfortable as well.
Put on a happy face.
Seriously. Do not come in looking like you've just lost your best friend or your cell phone on the bus. Worry shows; wipe it from your face and flash a dazzling smile as you firmly shake the interviewer's hand (I did say firm; not a vicelike grip!). A handshake is underrated. My dad has judged many a man who has walked through our front door based on his grip! Tell yourself you're going to be positive and optimistic; practice thinking happy thoughts: "I will get this job. I am a great catch for any company!"
