Where can I find Fisher’s Exact Test in JASP? Body:

Hello everyone,

I am working with categorical data in JASP and need to run Fisher’s Exact Test. However, I cannot find an option explicitly labeled “Fisher’s Exact Test” in the interface. I only see options such as Chi-square test and Continuity correction, but I am not sure whether Fisher’s test is available under a different name or menu.

Could someone please clarify:

  • Where Fisher’s Exact Test is located in JASP (and under which analysis)?
  • Whether it is automatically computed when expected counts are small?
  • Or if there is an alternative procedure recommended within JASP for this situation?

Thank you very much for your help.

  • In under Frequencies -> Contingency Tables, in the analysis panel on the left under "Statistics" you have to check "Odds ratio (2x2 only)" (the Fisher's Exact test is designed for 2x2 tables):

  • Thank you very much😀. I appreciate it. Happy New Year.
