Discrepancy between descriptive plot and table 95% credible intervals in Bayesian rmANOVA

Hello everyone,

I'm running a Bayesian repeated-measures ANOVA with a single factor, with JASP 0.95.4.

I had previously noticed discrepancies between the 95% credibility intervals in the descriptive table and the descriptive plot, as indicated in a previous post (https://forum.cogsci.nl/discussion/8892/95-credible-intervals-not-consistent-between-descriptive-and-plot).

It had been explained to me that the CIs in the plots account for differences in within and between factors, whereas not the case in the descriptives table. I see that the bug is not fixed on this version.

I'm confused, what would you advise me to report as a credible interval in a paper?

Also, how do you calculate these intervals on a theoretical level?

Would it be possible with R code in JASP to extract these values? or directly in R? Any advice would be appreciated !

Thanks to all

Best regards,

Johan
