running mirt in JASP

Hi - New to using JASP but would love to be able to run mirt in it so I can perform M4 similarity analyses. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Hi @Jerome, I should start by saying that I am not one of the developers at Amsterdam, but have recently begun adding simple additional functionality to the program as an external contributor. The real developers are aware of previous requests for this functionality on github i.e. the place where we collate requests and actually do development. See:

[Feature Request]: Item Response Models (IRT) · Issue #160 · jasp-stats/jasp-issues

I've attended them to this request also.

    Best,

  • Since JASP is built on R, the best way to do this currently is through the 'R Console' library within the app. You can load the mirt package directly there to run your M4 similarity analyses. It’s a great workaround for using specific R functions that haven't been fully integrated into the standard JASP point-and-click interface yet.
