Official status of Pupil Core / Pupil Labs support in OpenSesame / PyGaze

Hello Forum Managers,

I would like to ask about the current official status of Pupil Labs (Pupil Core) eye tracker support in OpenSesame and PyGaze.

I have reviewed older forum threads and understand that there is currently no native PyGaze plugin for Pupil devices, and that support was discussed and even worked on at some point but was shelved . Before I invest time in building a custom workaround (e.g., via Inline Scripts or LSL), I would like to confirm the following:

  1. Is there any active or planned development for official Pupil Labs support in PyGaze/OpenSesame?
  2. Has the situation changed since the last forum updates on this topic?
  3. If official support is not planned, is there a recommended or officially endorsed workaround for using Pupil Core with OpenSesame?

Any clarification from the management would be greatly appreciated, as this information would help many researchers decide how to proceed with their experimental setups.

Thank you.

Masoud
