[solved] HELP cross modal priming
Dear opensesame users,
I am very new to opensesame and am using the gui experiment builder.
This is what I would like a trial to look like:
A sound file (of variable length) starts. At one point a word appears for 300 ms, to which the subject needs to respond. We would like to measure the response time from the moment the word appears (and limit response time to 2 seconds). The next trial should begin 500 ms after the sound file ended.
I am able to get the word to appear while the sound is playing (using a sequence of sampler for the audio, followed by an advanced delay and then a sketchpad with the word).
Here my problem starts. In order to measure response time I use the keyboard response but if I set the sketchpad to 300ms, responses that are made before 300ms are not registered. If I set sketchpad to 0, I don't know how to erase the word after 300 ms, given that the response interval is 2 seconds.
