[open] problem Appending new/ existing items in sequence?

edited December 2014 in OpenSesame

Hi,

I recently updated to 2.9.1 and after that I couldn't find the append new/ existing items for sequences buttons in the sequence screen. It's making life really hard when trying to create similar sequences with linked items.
Is this a bug or am I missing something? (updating to 2.9.2 didn't help)

I uploaded a picture of a brand new experiment sequence:

Thank you!

    Hi Yonderin,

This isn't a bug, but an improvement of the newer version (at least in my opinion).
Instead of having those two buttons you mentioned, creating sequences in Opensesame is now mostly based on drag & drop. In this sense, you can "append new" by dragging the item you want from the toolbar into the sequence, and if you want to "append existing" you can copy (either linked or unlinked) one of the existing items and again dragging it to where you need it.
For more information have a look on step 1 of the tutorial.

    Good luck,

    Eduard
