Auditory oddball with EEG

Hey there,

i would like to use opensesame for my next experiment. I would like to run a auditive oddball experiment with eeg. I have never used opensesame before and therefore it is a bit complicated for me. I have done the tutorials and until now I have my auditive stimuli (target and non-target) within the trial sequence as well as a delay between the two stimuli. I don't know how to make a list of the stimulus sequence. The experiment should take approx. 7.5 minutes and the sequence should be randomised. Another problem is the combination with the eeg. Here, i would be happy if someone could give me some first steps.

Best,

Magnus

  • Hi Magnus,

How far did you get so far? From your description, I'm not sure whether I got your design entirely. Would you mind trying again to explain it to me? In general, it should be possible to run the study with Opensesame. Combing Opensesame with the EEG system is also rather intuitive (it was at least for me). So, if you still need help, just let us know.
