Logger File Not Registering Reaction Time or Accuracy
I have programmed a simple experiment where subjects are presented with images of faces or houses on the screen for 1 minute. They must press "1" for a face image and "2" for a house image.
In keyboard responses, I have entered:
Correct response: marker_value (name of the correct variable from the loop, have also tried leaving this field blank)
Allowed responses: 1;2
Timeout: infinite (have also tried setting specific values for this)
In the csv log file that is created, the reaction time column reads "NA" and the accuracy column is a list of zeros. The csv file is correctly entering the keyboard responses and which images were presented. What should I do to ensure the reaction time and accuracy are entered correctly in the csv file?
Thanks for all the help in advance!

Hi avkasdan,
make a new variable in your loop: Correct_resp
there you set 1 and 2 correspondingly.
In allowed responses you put the new variable by [Correct_resp]

Hi Stephan,
I am now getting the reaction times- thank you! I am still not getting accuracy, however- the "acc" and "accuracy" are blank even though the "correct_response" and "response" columns are populated. Any suggestions for this? Thanks so much for the help!

Hi Anna,
i just remember that the accuracy variable calculates something strange that you usually don't need in that form. What do you need it for?
With the correct_response you can afterwards calculate your percentage of correct responses.
And if you need some feedback during the experiment, you may use an inline_script.

I think I figured it out- thanks so much!!
