picture file does not exist
When I try and run my experiment, I receive an error message each time saying "the picture file [ ] does not exist". All the images are in the file pool and I made sure to call the variable names correctly in the script. Any suggestions on how to fix this/why it may be happening?
Thanks!

Hi Anna,
Would you mind uploading your experiment? Then I can check whether this is really a weird bug, or whether something else is going wrong.
Thanks,
Eduard
Hi Eduard,
The file was too big to upload... so I have attached some screenshots (I can send more too). This is based on the animal tutorial on this site, and I am adapting it for HS students for the classroom. I changed the name of the variable "animal" to include the image number as well, and that solved the image problem...not sure why this worked but concatenating two separate variable names did not work...
Also changed the name of "sound" variable to include the number...this did not work and I am still not hearing any sounds even though the .ogg files work outside of OpenSesame (new problem). Thanks for the help!
Anna

As far as I can see, you're doing nothing wrong. In the past, I did have some problems with .ogg files. Some files worked whereas others did not. In the end, I couldn't figure out why, I just used files that worked.
Is the experiment still to big if you remove a couple of images and/or sound files and then try to upload it? Two each would be enough.
Thanks,
