DirectSoundCreate: No audio device found
in OpenSesame
Hi,
You always helped me, I thank you.
About the message error "DirectSoundCreate: No audio device found"? I have already seen the answers. And I know it is very difficult to fix this technical problem because its because Pygame require an audio card.
However, I must use a Pc dedicated for the experiments which is not equiped of sound card (win xp ; Opensesame first version). If anyone can help me...

Hi Christophe,
Are you planning to make an experiment that uses sounds? In that case, a sound card would be a useful thing to insert in the experiment computer. Alternatively, it could be that you get this error message when starting up OpenSesame in general. Let me know if that's the case.

Possibly buying the cheapest USB sound card you can find, might easily solve your problem.
