Hello, in excel file I have four groups of participants but when I open it from JASP I don't have my four grouups but only one . Can you help me to resolve this problem?

First, make sure that your data is in separate columns, and the file is saved as a csv file.

Happy to try to help, but I will need more information than this. Can you provide exact details of your file (type of data inside, number of columns and rows, etc.) and the process by which you are trying to input it in JASP?

Sorry for my English.
My file including 123 columns and 83 rows. In my first columns named "patients", I have 2 groups of patients and 2 groups of control subjects ( (83 in total), 83 rows.

The others columns including several variables (age, number of CAG, number of level education, etc..........). in total, I have 123 variables.

First, I registred my file in CSV extension. Then I open JASP and includes my file. I have windows 7 process.

Maybe you can the JASP programmers (through our GitHub page) your file, or else the first 10 rows or something. As an aside, if you open the CSV in another program (such as Excel), then it does work? This is important to know.

What do the column or columns relating to "patients" look like? Are they are in or two columns, and what are the labels for the different groups?

Also EJ asked a good question - can you open your CSV file successfully in a program such as excel?

I have only one columm: I give you an example: I have 4 groups: clinical patients (HD), preclinical patients (PreHD), controls subjects for clinical HD (CHD) and controls subjects for preclinical (CPHD)

I have no problem to open CVS file in a program such as excel but I have only a problem for my variable groups. I have only a group name "patients" but not not my 4 four groups (HD, PreHD, CHD, CPHD)

Are you saying that when you open the file in JASP, you have the column header labeled "patients" but no data in the rows below showing the group labels - these cells are empty? but you have data showing in the other columns for age, level, etc?

The example data you have given me opens up in JASP just fine, so I would recommend going through JASP programmers for more assistance. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Yes, just send the programmers the offending csv file and we'll sort it out.
