1. JASP should display OR. Currently it can display only lnOR.
2. There is no option to display SE(lnOR). JASP obviously had calculated it before calculating CI of lnOR. It would be useful if there was an option for SE to be visible.
3. It would be very useful if there was an option to convert lnOR to OR, so that I will not have to convert the upper and lower limit of the CI manually.
4. The term "logOR" is not correct. LogOR is the logarithm of 10, but you obviously mean the logarithm of e.

I understand that JASP is still in beta. Maybe making these small changes and further improving JASP is already on your agenda.

  • These are all good points, I will pass them on to the people responsible. I think we want to stick with "log" instead of introducing "ln" (see also how R does this). Thanks for helping out with these great suggestions! Note that when you want to suggest improvements, the GitHub page is more efficient, because you get to interact directly with the team.
