Running different .osexp files sequentially and automatically on MacOS

edited May 2017 in OpenSesame

Hi,

I have different opensesame files (.osexp) for different tasks that are included in the same experiment. I had to do this because they require different backends. But now I would like to run the tasks in sequence for every participant without needing to open each file after every task. I saw this discussion for windows, but I couldn't implement something similar for MacOS.
Can you help me with this, please?

Thanks,
João

  • Hi Joao,

Well, it is basically just making a bash file on a Mac. I don't have one and have never used one, so I am not much of a help. Logically, the only thing you need to do, is to run opensesame with a certain experiment, and some settings, wait until it has finished and then start the next. But the discussion you are referring to, is saying nothing less. So yeah, I doubt whether my answer is useful in any way.

    Sorry,
    Eduard
