JASP Sequential analysis plot
How does the sequential analysis for Bayesian Independent T-Test in JASP work exactly?
How is each dot represented in the plot calculated excatly? Which subjects enter this calculation for each dot?
When we changed the order of our subjects, also the plot changed so we are not sure if subjects are added individually in order or random samples are drawn from the big sample for each dot.
Thank you!
Comments
Dear biopsy,
The analysis assumes that the order with which the data arrive is given by the order of the rows. So the analysis is executed on the first n rows, where n is increased until the last row has been reached. The order with which the data come in does not affect the final point.
Cheers,
