logging correct responses and response times for questionnaires & slow OK button
Hi,
I'm quite new to OpenSesame and I have few small problems.
Firstly, does anyone know how to log correct responses and response times in questionnaires? I have already set the allowed and correct responses for each question correctly, and selected correct response and response time variables from the variable list. However, in an excel sheet, I do not get the right coding of the right and wrong responses of the questions, and the response times for the questions seem not to be accurate..
My other problem is that after I inserted keyboard responses and mouse click responses to demographic questions in the beginning of the experiment, I need to double click the OK button in order to get to the next demographic question. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks for your help!
Sara

Hi Sara,
Without seeing how the responses are exactly collected it will be difficult to make any constructive suggestions, and the same goes for the double keypress, would it be possible to have a look at the actual experiment? For example what items are you using for the questionnaire, is it a multiple choice or do they have to type something, are you using custom forms or inline coding?
For correct responses you can either define the variable
'correct_response'
or indeed define the correct response in the box in the keyboard response item.

Double keypresses sometimes occur if there are multiple items that require a keyboard response, and at times they can appear a little bit hidden, so this should be very much solvable,
