auditory search task

I'm looking to implement an auditory version of the visual search task in the intermediate tutorial. I've searched on this forum, and it appears that I need to use the pyaudio or pygame python module to present sounds simultaneously. I modified some code that I found online that attempts to present sounds simultaneously; however, it needs to be modified so that sounds are presented at predetermined channels/locations and with little lag during presentation onsets. Additionally, I plan on presenting an additional, surprise sound during a randomly chosen trial so that it is played along with the target and distractor sounds. I want to collect measures like response time and accuracy to target sounds. I've uploaded the code that I have that attempts to present sounds simultaneously (warning it is very basic!). I also have a modified version of the visual search task (keyboard response time is limited and a surprise sound plays during on trial) that I can upload if needed. Any advice on how to proceed is greatly appreciated.
