Recording response time during video and advancing to next video
Hi, for my first round of dissertation experiments I am having participants watch brief videos of a circle move behind an occlusion and they have to press the spacebar when they think it should reappear on the other side. I would like the spacebar pressing to be recorded as the response time and the trial to end when the key has been pressed. I am having trouble with a) capturing the accurate response time of the keypress, (the trial continues and I need to press it again to move on to the next trial) and b) I cant get the trial I am currently on to end when the key is pressed so that the next trial will start. I have very limited experience coding but I am willing to try any suggestions to get this to work. Thank you
