Performance Problems during RSVP Stream
Hey everyone,
we are currently trying to program an experiment which should investigate the effects of attentional sets. In our experiment, we produce three separate RSVP streams containing four different trial conditions. One block consists of 16 different Trials.
One Block should be shown as a consistent sequence, while OpenSesame logs the correct/incorrect reponse key pressed by the participant. So far, we are able to produce the three different RSVP streams with the four different conditions, but during one block, OpenSesame needs up to 9 seconds to generate the next trial sequence. This pretty much ruins the idea of the experiment, but unfortunately, I have no idea how to fix this.
Maybe we need a different Backend? We are currently using xpyrment…

Can you upload your experiment? It is hard to make an estimate what is happening without knowing what exactly you did.
