Variable types : clarification
According to the getting started doc (https://jasp-stats.org/getting-started/) , JASP distinguishes 4 variable types: nominal, nominal text, ordinal, continuous. Ordinal variables are "categorical variables with an inherent order". I was wondering whether ordinal variables could also refer to quantitative variables with a discrete scale (e.g., number of words recalled in a memory experiment). Thanks for your help!
