Similarity to E-prime
I am currently using both the Open Sesame and E-prime to run a visual world experiment in academic research. I would like to back up this preference with independent evidence.
Apart from the "Mathôt, S., Schreij, D., & Theeuwes, J. (2012). OpenSesame: An open-source, graphical experiment builder for the social sciences. Behavior Research Methods, 44, 314-324. doi:10.3758/s13428-011-0168-7", are there any other publications that you might be aware of that provide a validity / quality check for Open Sesame and E-prime or/and ergue for the simlarity of those two softawres?
Thanks a lot! & Christmas Wishes!

Hi,
As far as I know there is no systematic, and published comparison of Opensesame and Eprime, but given that >600 studies have used Opensesame it is most likely okay to use it without justifying that you did.

Dear Eduard,
Happy new year! Thank you for your reply very much. I am grateful. This is rather helpful. I'll stick to it.
Best,
