Affordable Psychophysiological Measurement

Hi all,

My department has surplus funds that we would like to spend on an affordable system for psychophysiological measurement for teaching research methods, student projects, etc. We have about $6000 USD. We would be interested in central (e.g., Emotiv) and/or peripheral measures (e.g., Gazepoint biometrics). If you have any suggestions or feedback on any system, we would greatly appreciate it! We would be particularly interested in a user-friendly system. We're hoping to find something analogous to what the Eye Tribe or Gazepoint is for eye tracking (thanks to PyGaze).

PS one option we are looking into is acquiring a Biopac and using it with @Edwin's Python wrapper.
