Correlation for quadratic relationship
Hi everyone,
Does anyone of you know if it's possible to test for a quadratic (instead of linear) relationship in JASP? I only have two variables I want to correlate this way. Oh, I'd like to get Bayes Factors for this quadratic correlation. Thanks in advance!

Hi Kevin,
Well, we don't have that in there just yet (although I like the idea of having a measure of association that is very general) but I guess most people would use linear regression and use polynomial predictors...so include both x, x^2 as predictors (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polynomial_regression)
