I can't install mousetrap pluggins
Hi! I've been trying to install the current development version of mousetrap pluggin for the 3.2.8 version of OpenSesame. When I run the command in the debug window, the following message appears:
"You are using pip version 9.0.1, however version 19.2.3 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'python -m pip install --upgrade pip' command."
Following the error messahe, i tried to run the command for upgrading it:
import pip._internal
pip._internal.main(['install', 'python-pygaze', '--upgrade'])
But the the error message says "ImportError: No module named _internal"
How do I fix this in order to properly install the mousetrap pluggin?
Comments
Hi there,
the following is only a notification but not an error message:
"You are using pip version 9.0.1, however version 19.2.3 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'python -m pip install --upgrade pip' command."
So in principle, the installation should work regardless of this message. Have you checked whether mousetrap was installed correctly?
Best,
Pascal
Thank you Pascal
No it's not installed. I just saw it says that my access was denied. I guess there's nothing to do now?
Have you followed the instructions at https://github.com/PascalKieslich/mousetrap-os/blob/master/README.md#installation? If you are using Windows you need to run opensesame as an administrator to avoid the access denied issue. Hope this helps!
Best
Pascal
