Recording responses with a microphone (soundrecorder)

I am rather new to OpenSesame and unfortunately I did not find the sound recorder function. I did download the plugins and inserted the inline but it doesn't work. There is no recent documentation about it unfortunately. Thank!

Yes, the plugin is very old. I don't know how easy it is to make it work with the current version or finding out what precisely the issue is in your case. Maybe it makes more sense to use Python directly. For example, here they have listed a number of ways to record audio in Python. You can use that functionality in Opensesame if you code the response collection in an inline-script.
