When to Include Factors in Null Model

Hi everyone, I have a 2x2 ANOVA but I am really only interested in testing whether there is an effect of Factor A. It is very obvious within my data that factor B is a very good predictor of the DV. Do i consider factor B to be a "Nuisance factor" and include it in the null model or is this inappropriate?
