Correlation Matrix - Option not available

I am using JASP for a class project and am attempting to create a correlation matrix. My professor demonstrated how she did it and it worked well, but when I click Regression, there is no "correlation matrix" option, only the option for "correlation," which does not give me what I need for the project. Any possible solutions to this issue?

  • In the more recent version of JASP, we integrated "correlation matrix" and "correlation pairs" that used to be separate (so: your professor was using an older version). But when you go in to "correlation", all of the matrix options should be there. In particular, there is the option "correlation matrix" under "plots". Please let me know if there is something else that is missing.

    Cheers,

  • Hi, I currently don't see "correlation matrix" under plots as an option anymore, has this option changed?

  • perhaps you're looking for "heatmap"

  • The option "correlation matrix" is there explicitly in the Bayesian formulation (what were you doing with the frequentist tools anyway? ;-)). In the frequentist version, you can tick the various plot options to construct the desired matrix (and if you only want the numbers, the matrix is generated by default).

    Cheers,

    E.J.
