Confusion on including a Confirmation code on MTurk
Hello,
I wanted to be able to include a confirmation code at the end of my study that will show up on my Jatos results page so I can assign the finished study to the worker who participated. I already read the documentation page for this at: https://www.jatos.org/End-page-after-your-study-finished.html#2-endpagehtml-since-jatos-v351
The documentation page says "If you include a file named ‘endPage.html’ in your study assets folder along with your other study’s files, JATOS will automatically redirect to this page after the study finished."
I am just unsure of how to create and include this endPage.html file. Can anybody explain in more specific steps how I can do this? Thank you so much!

Hi,
Actually there's a misunderstanding. The endPage.html is means to be a static, custom webpage that you might want to show to your participants. JATOS already automatically displays an MTurk confirmation code whenever you use an MTurk worker type. To try it yourself and see how it looks, you can imitate a study run with an MTurk worker (https://www.jatos.org/Tips-and-Tricks.html#imitate-a-run-from-mechanical-turk)

I agree with Elisa: no need to write your own endPage.html, JATOS shows a default one with the MTurk confirmation code. If you want, of course, you can write your own and display the code in there in your own layout/design.
sorry I have a question about confirmation code. I am tring to share my JATOS link in Mturk.
This confirmation code could form by Mturk, or create by ourselves? because it seems ask me to input this code

Hi,
That screen you see is actually what participants will see when they run your study. So they will click on the study link, be redirected to a page (in a different tab, I think) and then, when they finish the study and get the confirmation code, they can enter it there. You don't need to do anything

Thanks!
