keyboard issue

Hello everyone

I am planning a lexical decision task, I will illustrate it in brief.

Pairs of words are presented in sequence and people are asked to press 1 if they read two words and 0 if there is a non-word. I should record accuracy and reaction times, but unfortunately it doesn't give me these variables in the results file. It appears not to register the 1-0 keys on the keyboard.. how can I do?

In the table (block trials) I put in columns:  stimuli (e.g. rose-dog), some features (e.g. length), categories (words-nowords) and correct_response(0=nowords-1=words).

in the blocktrials I inserted the trial sequence:

-dot fixation

-items (200 ms)

-keyboard_press (allowed response 1;0)

-white screen

-new_logger

 thanks to anyone who answers.

  • Hi Danirus,

have you checked your settings in the logger item?

E.g. try 'Log all variables' to see whether the variables you are looking for are logged.

  • Hey Danirus,

I'm pretty new to all this too, but is this what you were hoping to achieve?

  • thank you all

I fortunately solved by putting more keys as an answer, in addition to the correct one
