Sub-group meta-analysis

Hi folks

I will be teaching meta-analysis in JASP next term and I am working with JASP at the moment - I used to use Open MetaAnalyst. I would like to look at heterogeneity by analysing sub-groups such as intervention time etc. I assumed that you could add a covariate/factor and re-run the analysis to get forest plots and statistics for each sub-group but this does not seem to be the case - just one set of statistics and one forest plot with grey diamonds. I was hoping to get an output like the screenshot attached.

Is this possible??

Cheers

Mark

  • Cheers EJ - hope all is well with you and the team in Amsterdam

  • His response: "Sub-analyses are possible with the case filter feature, and running a meta-analysis on subsets of cases. But combining them in forest plots as in the example is not implemented. If I remember correctly I decided to not add that mainly because it would require an additional user interface, and you can simply do it with sub-grouping your data and running a meta analysis."
