Navon task

Hi,

I readed on JATOS site, the variety of other instruments "suitable" with JATOS, and I saw that there was also psytoolkit. I'm interested in using an experiment I downloaded from psytoolkit, the Navon task. I downloaded it from Psytoolkit site. Is there a way to upload it on JATOS? Because I tried but JATOS told me that is an invalid file. How can I do that? Maybe i have to convert it, or re-build it through Open Sesame?. Thanks

  • Hi Lorenzo,

OSWeb and lab.js are the only two toolboxes that create experimental scripts that will work out-of-the-box with JATOS.

For all others, you'll have to make some modifications. These are straightforward, but they do require some minimal knowledge of JavaScript and understanding of the difference between the experimental scripts and JATOS. I don't know the Navon task from Psytoolkit but have a look at our docs page on how 'jatosify' a pre-existing study. If you can't get it to work, you can always write again explaining what you've done exactly and which errors you're getting (look at the console in your browser's Developer Tools)
